Grape Slushy Pops

Today Yummy Sprout is sharing a fun and easy recipe just in time for summer! Kids this summer attending our camps will get to whip up delicious creations with Yummy Sprout each day and kids attending our afterschool clubs this fall (Mosaic Afterschool Club and Creative Soul Club) will get to each week.

Grape Slushy Pops

Here is an easy, healthy and affordable to make your own. We use reusable molds but you can also use disposable cups and popsicle sticks but be sure to add the sticks after about 45 min to an hour of freezing so they don't tip to the side. These are wonderful, refreshing and have a great slushy texture - kids will love eating them as much as making them!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups seedless Grapes (any type)

  • 1 cup Orange Juice

  • 1/2 cup pure Coconut Water

Wash your grapes. Add all the ingredients to a blender and whizz up till smooth. If you do not have a high powered blender that is okay, it might just take a little while to get the grapes blended up. Pour the liquid into popsicle molds and freeze for about 6-8 hours before eating. Rinsing the molds under a little hot water for 5-10 seconds will help them pop out easily. Enjoy!
