​Creative Soul Camp was founded in 2017 by experienced educators who love offering kids outstanding opportunities to delight in creative enrichment activities and is directed by Jamie Gale (pictured above with her awesome kids - who campers might recognize as camp staff!) Jamie has both been committed to working with kids in the Madison-area for over two decades, through classroom teaching as well as running youth programming. At Creative Soul Camp, we believe strongly in inspiring kids to develop their own creativity by offering kids ages 6-13 opportunities to enjoy art, drama, yoga, and cooking classes in a playful camp setting!
Jamie is an experienced educator and has been a camp person, well, forever! Jamie co-founded and directs Creative Soul Camp to bring her yoga program, little om BIG OM, to Madison-area youth along with other specialty creative arts enrichment opportunities! Jamie is also the director of the Creative Soul Afterschool Club and Mosaic Afterschool Club as well as the owner and co-director of a kids yoga teacher training, Meet Me in Child's Pose, and a camp counselor training, The Star Counselor. She also owns the podcast network Lit Path Studios and the professional and personal development company, Boss Mama, and is the mom of three awesome teenagers.
In addition to Summer Camp, Creative Soul also offers after school programs (Mosaic Afterschool Club and Creative Soul Club), where kids enjoy art, culinary, STEAM, drama and yoga activities, and we have exciting plans for new programming in the future!
Our programs take place at a variety of kid-friendly locations around the Madison-area.
