CO-FOUNDER/-CO DIRECTOR Tara has over 20 years experience working in education and a degree in Marketing. Besides being a co-founder and co-director for Creative Soul Camp and all of its programming she is the owner and creator of Yummy Sprout, a program offering culinary classes for kids. Her favorite ways to spend time include cooking with her family, trivia, yoga, writing, painting, traveling, reading books and taking her dogs for walks.
CO-FOUNDER/ CO-DIRECTOR Jamie is an educator who has been working in the camp industry for more than 20 years. She is the owner of a program agency which develops and operates educational and enrichment programs and trainings such as a kids yoga program, trainings for kids yoga teachers and a camp counselor training. She also is the owner of a podcast network and a professional development group for business-owning moms. Jamie also loves to hike, see live music and explore Madison with her kids.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT A trained postpartum doula and self-described craft nerd, Shalon has spent most of her career in the non-profit sector, managing volunteer programs for basic needs organizations. When not in the kitchen making desserts with her two kids, she can be found tackling her extensive backlog of fiber arts projects, pondering existential questions like, "how much yarn is too much yarn?", and writing queer love stories.

ART SPECIALIST Kyra is a current student at UW-Madison studying Psychology. She is a caring and experienced childcare provider dedicated to creating a safe and loving environment for children. With 6 years of experience, she prioritizes fun, learning, and nurturing relationships.
CULINARY SPECIALIST Allyssa is currently a student at UW-Madison majoring in Information Science while also pursuing a certificate in Digital Studies. Coming from a large family, she has grown up helping her mom and relatives cook. Â In her spare time, Allyssa enjoys listening to music, spending time with her friends and family, and playing video games. This is her 3rd summer as an Instructor for Yummy Sprout!
TWEEN CAMP LEAD COUNSELOR / YOGA SPECIALIST Caitlyn was born and raised in Madison and has always loved working with children. She is currently a student at UW-Madison and is studying Psychology. While outside of school she is part of the little om BIG OM team, loves baking, and exploring madison!
YOGA SPECIALIST Aaron is a camp enthusiast who enjoys being active while having fun. He plays on the basketball team and the golf team during the school year. This is his fourth summer working at Creative Soul Camp!
SENIOR COUNSELOR Guen is a wonderful part of our team and an aspiring artist who is passionate about spreading creativity! She loves to paint, hang out with her cats, watch movies, and all things art!
SENIOR COUNSELOR Elora obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology from Iowa State University and will be starting the master's program for speech-language pathology at UW-Madison in the fall. In her free time she loves to read, hike, and check out new coffee shops!
SENIOR COUNSELOR Jessica is an experienced childcare provider dedicated to serving youth by fostering an environment that encourages exploration and self expression. Art has been one of her biggest passions, from the fine arts to crafting trinkets and charms. She is always looking to learn new skills and art mediums and is excited to be a part of Creative Soul Camp this summer. She also enjoys long walks, films, and reading.
SENIOR COUNSELOR Julia is a senior at UW-Madison studying communication arts and English. She is passionate about creating fun learning environments that foster creativity! In her spare time, she loves cooking, reading, listening to music, and spending time with family.
SENIOR COUNCELOR Suz is a recent graduate of UW-Madison with a degree in Biochemistry. Despite a love for science, she also loves all things creative including knitting, painting, and circus arts. She loves working and being with kids, encouraging them to try all new activities and get their creative energy flowing! When she is not in school, she loves to read, be outside and enjoys hiking, camping, climbing, and running.

STUDENT SUPPORT COORDINATOR/ DRAMA MANAGER Corissa is a talented business owner (All About the Drama) and Para-educator! She loves being a part of Creative Soul and has been with it since the beginning bringing dramatic adventures and performances customized but the campers! She loves hiking in nature, coffee and spending time with her family.​​​​
AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM SITE DIRECTOR Britta is a Middleton native and has spent most of her life in the Madison area. She recently returned from working abroad as an Elementary school English teacher in South Korea for 2 years. She has a bachelor's degree from UW-Madison in Social Work and enjoys being involved in her local community. In her free time she enjoys cooking, baking, drawing and painting, reading novels, and taking long walks.

AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM SITE DIRECTOR Alex is a student at UW-Madison studying English with a minor in Education and Gender and Women's Studies. In high school Alex worked as a piano teacher, volunteered at the local Youth Center, and has also volunteered as a tutor for multiple subjects throughout both high school and college. She hopes to pursue a Masters in Secondary Education as she works toward her goal of becoming an English Teacher.

CULINARY SPECIALIST/ CLUB LEADER Kennedy is a club leader and culinary specialist extraordinaire, she also assists our art specialists. She is a junior at UW Madison and this is her second year working at Creative Soul. She loves working with kids and eventually would like to be an art teacher.
